Cerise had the misfortune of being born a girl in a poor Ishgardian house. His parents would take payments from various patrons, typically desperate nobles, to have their daughter for a night. What a shame that his parents’ coffee had curiously been contaminated by dragon blood one day. The two were framed as heretics and executed; Cerise fled, and changed his name entirely.This led to a life of wandering through the Brume. Seeing his past success with sneakily dropping a deadly liquid into his targets' drinks, he took an interest in brewing substances for various purposes. After a certain point, having gained enough experience, he created a small "hole-in-the-wall" apothecary business offering his services to those that need it. He supports a range of product, from the dangerous and life-threatening - if he can source the appropriate materials - to the more comforting, for what disadvantaged souls may visit. He offers raw materials for their side effects as well, notably herbs and berries.

Cerise cares little for morals when it comes to his pursuits, and will work with just about anyone if it means his target will end up dead. Setting up dates with vile nobles and picking them off with poison using a similar method to his parents brings him great joy. He loves playing on innocent appearances, only to display a bloodthirsty attitude soon after. Poison is not his only go-to; if Cerise decides the person sought after is particularly deserving of a certain fate, his alchemical works are only a means to lure them into cruel hands that will give back what’s owed.Apart from the offering of deadly substances, Cerise regularly engages in questionable activities. He allowed himself a sketchy top surgery from a Brume surgeon (with resulting irregular scars), and brews his own hormones. Forging documents is another skill he learned for his survival. Having a false identity comes with no proof of self, after all.
Other features.
Cerise speaks with a distinct Brume accent, and his voice itself is projected in a strong androgynous tone. He's very tall, with long Elezen proportions and a slightly soft figure. He has a good number of scars, two on his face; the large scar spanning his forehead is strategically hidden by bangs at all times, the smaller on his cheek typically covered by the long layers of his hair. As mentioned, the top scars on his chest are crooked and irregular. Cerise tends to act sweet when not preoccupied with darker work. His eyes may betray his true feelings of exaggeration, casting a shadow over his brow. What smile he does paint on his face drops quicker than it should be able to. Around his eyes are significantly dark circles of exhaustion that he, like his facial scars, attempts to cover.Cerise mostly uses blades when it comes to a more physical form of combat or defense, coating them in poison of his own making to make them dangerous. Otherwise, he keeps a collection of seemingly unused weapons and an assortment of trinkets.

Well-known information or situations that are easy to come by.
"Brume rat" of Ishgard: Cerise left his home at a relatively young age. Afterwards, he both lived and learned his skills in the Brume. He frequents lower Ishgard, and commonly extends himself to Coerthas, the latter typically in search of materials – especially wild and forageable types. Any Ishgardian or visitor to the area may run into him at one point.
Apothecary Services (beneficial/neutral): His business is open to those seeking aid. He visibly stocks only the beneficial and neutral substances he brews, as well as plants and other raw materials. A herbal enthusiast may also be drawn to his work.
Conjury: Cerise would like to learn conjury for his clients, and would be interested in somebody possessing knowledge or talent in the practice.

Information known within reason, requiring some connection, an established relationship, or a personal story that would explain the possession of such knowledge.
Apothecary Services (negative): The less moral of Cerise’s services, and hidden behind his storefront. One would need to know he offers these services, from a connection or he himself, in order to receive them. The more obvious are his questionable substances and materials: poisons, debilitating brews, deadly berries, herbs with certain side-effects, so on. The other is his skill in forgery. His willingness to offer these services will highly depend on the reason, his appraisal on the need for it, status, and potential price point.

An unlikely situation and/or hidden information that may come to light through repeated contact with Cerise, or if he meets a particular type of individual.
Hired Target: Cerise can be hired to fetch, torture, or kill a specified target. Aside from offering an array of alchemical products, he’ll administer them himself if put to the task. Corrupt church members, nobles, and abusive family are high on his priority list. Unless retrieval is requested, this is an incredibly hard hook to pursue – permanent injury or character death will follow, and he doesn't take targets without a reason he deems acceptable.

Why is his last name not Myste? His current name is a fake to disassociate himself from his previous life. Perhaps his last name actually is Myste.
